thunivu It had a great Tuesday at the Indian box office as it crossed Rs. 100 crore mark on the seventh day of release. The film starring Ajith Kumar collected Rs. 13 crores on Tuesday, which takes its total box office collection to Rs. 105 crores approx. Tamil Nadu is now doing almost all the collections for the film, with the film collecting Rs. More than 12 crore in the state yesterday. The number of seven days in Tamil Nadu is Rs. 87 crores approx.
Despite the massive clash with Vaarisu, the seven-day collection is the highest ever for Ajith, beating Valimai, which had a single release and a larger Rs. 7 crores on the first day, the film will comfortably cross the Rs 1000 crore mark. 100 crore mark in Tamil Nadu and could become Ajith’s highest grosser film here. It will depend on how it fares after the holiday period in the state starting today.
Outside Tamil Nadu, the film has performed well in Karnataka with Rs. 9 crores in seven days giving a tough competition to Warisu. Thunivu would become Ajith’s highest grosser in the state, surpassing Vishwasam within a few days. Kerala is low but better than the last few Ajith starrers which had poor collections. Elsewhere, the film fell apart after a first day that had little in itself.

Thunivu may not win the clash against the Vijay starrer though the heir And the same will be in limelight but the film has done very well on its own. The film would be the highest grosser ever outside Tamil Nadu, especially for Ajith. foreign, where it put up career best numbers for Ajith in most of the markets. Financially as well, the film will give good returns to its investors given the reasonable cost involved.
