Michael Strahan has an NFL resume longer than a CVS receipt. The Pro Football Hall of Famer and New York Giants legend has done it all. His list of accomplishments has not wavered since transitioning to television and broadcasting.
And now his remarkable list of accomplishments is about to get longer.
Strahan will receive a prestigious star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The special star will appear on Hollywood Boulevard near Orange Drive in front of the Line Store. It will be the 2,744th star on the famed walk.
Strahan, 51, played 15 seasons with the Giants organization. He became a seven-time Pro Bowler and a four-time NFL All-Pro. He also led the Giants to a Super Bowl 42 victory over the New England Patriots.
In his career, Strahan recorded 141.5 sacks. He ranks sixth all-time since sacks became an official statistic in 1982.
Strahan is also a two-time Emmy Award winner and one-time Peabody Award winner. He currently serves as co-host on Good Morning America and FOX NFL Sunday, and host of The $100,000 Pyramid. He also previously appeared on Live! With Kelly and Michael and Strahan, Sara and Keke. In addition to his football and media ventures, Strahan also owns his own clothing line.
